A small update for Fences is available. This release lets you override the language set at install time and includes a fix to help maintain a consistent sort order in some fences. You can download the update from https://www.stardock.cachefly.net/Fences_3.09_setup_sd.exe.

Rebooted after the update and all hidden fences and items booted up as visible. Was working as expected prior to this update. (All hidden items booting up hidden)

Thanks,

David

It's working good

As usual, there's a problem with the latest update. To wit: after the update, the program keeps offering to update itself.

Also, the lack of e-mail support for a paid product seems unacceptable.

Further, the 'sign in' link below the 'hello guest' text takes one to a dialog for creating a new account.

What a mess!

Dear Basj

Thanks for the reply, but I don't fancy re-creating all my fences. Still, I suppose I could save the layout and then restore it - yes?

I've backed-up and purged. Now, where do I get the new installer from, please? Also: you're going to fix the forum problem I identified, yes?

Not seeing any issues with that link.

OK, using a different browser, and having entered my credentials twice, I managed to get the download. Also, restoring the backup removed all the colours from my Fences; the colours don't get backed up. I've mentioned this before. (Why don't you celibrate your anniversary by trying to make your website and products work better, frankly?)

Here too, after the update, the program keeps offering to update itself.

I don´t want to lose any customization of fences so, till a new version without this annoying bug, every day I´ll tell Fences update window "remind me later"... that really means: I have already update!

Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

There has been a recent update fix to the OD Manager update issue.

Check again to see if your issue is OK now.

I fixed the version prompting for a new one. My apologies. Too many numbers...
